Liam and cast perfectly articulate a band of loners on the end of the world that cling to every breath of life despite the forgotten souls they all portray. This is an absolute masterpiece for those that love a darker mood and a bit a realism to a survival story. See more Ray C 6d I’ve never loved survival thrillers, but I still enjoyed The Grey quite a bit. As a thriller, it’s painfully bleak and gritty, but it’s much more of a horror movie than I was expecting. There are some genuinely well-done jump scares and one extremely uncomfortable body-horror–type scene. The movie also has a great cast. Liam Neeson delivers one of his best dramatic performances, and I really liked a lot of the supporting actors. There’s some solid character work here as well. I know some people weren’t fans of the ending, but I enjoyed it. Obviously, it’s hard to love an ending like this, but I think it fits the movie. The pacing kind of crawls in the second half, but I still found it enjoyable. Fans of this type of movie will definitely like it more than I did, but I’d still recommend it. Forced movie were a bossy moron makes dudes gather wallets in the snow and head out into open tundra during windy conditions with wolves in the area. Liam neeson kills his role and perfectly conveys a man so beaten up by life that his heart is covered in calluses, but he still has a heart that cares. I love how deep this movie goes. I loved it as a kid, but I had no idea the meaning it has until I watched it again now as I an becoming a man.
