Jesus returns to a disturbed, distracted world and is interviewed on a public access TV show. VHS video tapes, purchased at a storage auction in Florida, contain three episodes of a Los Angeles public access talk show and numerous reels of behind-the-scenes footage. There are tapes from TV news reports that tell the story of a man who called himself "Jesus" and tried to spread a message of peace, love, hope and forgiveness, but was largely ignored and ridiculed by the media.

In ideas, empathy, and in the possibility of something good surviving a world addicted to outrage. It’s interesting, strange, and quietly profound; a must-watch for fans of found-footage filmmaking and independent cinema. Go to Full Review

Gary 1 day ago It is a movie within a movie...lost tapes are found and it is very interesting, and thought provoking with a mystery for you to figure out . See more Stephen G @RT87615370 5 hrs ago Great concept for a film. But from the start, I was disappointed and feels like the opportunity was wasted. Early on in the film we get an "auction" that looks like someone just got their neighbours over to film a scene. Terrible acting and auction! Then the show on the Jesus Tapes are scripted like someone trying to turn a sermon into a film. Not very exciting, and poor acting leaves this film in need of a resurrection.
