This look at Star Wars fanatics and their love-hate relationship with George Lucas turns out to be more interesting than most fanboy docs because director Alexandre O. Philippe touches on some fairly knotty matters of film history and creative ownership.

It may seem like it’s taking a side, but if you look a little deeper under the surface I think you’ll find a much broader critique that makes for a very appealing film, especially for Star Wars fans.

For disillusioned fans like myself, it's a unnecessary reminder of the things you hate about a thing you used to love.

It's a documentary made by angry Star Wars fans who wish the Prequel Trilogy was exactly like the Original Trilogy, and bashing the Special Edition of the OT. Moreover, these angry fanboys think they understand Star Wars better than George Lucas himself.

A terrible documentary that, along with Red Letter Media, painted the picture that everyone hated the prequels and George Lucas. There is zero balance, and most of the people interviewed seem mentally unstable. In the end, George ended up selling Star Wars, and look where we are now.

As a lover of Star Wars, I feel qualified to say that this was a pointless documentary. Largely repetitive and bitter interviews with fans who think Lucas should have done this or that differently. Lots of complaining about the prequels. Nothing new. A snooze-fest.
