Bernard Besserglik The Hollywood Reporter Aug 18, 2016
The performances by Schmidt and Bel are adequate, but Brasseur, who played opposite the likes of Jean Gabin back in the 1950s, is unable to get much change out of the stereotyped role of the old grump. Go to Full Review PJ Nabarro Patrick Nabarro Feb 9, 2020

The fact Henri attempts to pimp out Constance to upset his bourgeois son's sterile marriage seems overlooked in the syrupy climax. An unlikeable film about unlikeable people. Go to Full Review M. Faust The Public (Buffalo) Sep 25, 2017
It's blandly pleasant, and the music is quite nice, but you'll be hard pressed to remember anything about it a week after you see it. Go to Full Review Hugo Lara Correcámara Jun 6, 2017
A simple but entertaining story, with friendly characters and balanced humor with emotion and tenderness. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review Sofía Ochoa Rodríguez En Filme Jun 2, 2017

Conveys a message of empathy, friendship and perseverance. We have heard it before but contemporary history shows that it hasn't been enough. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review Carlos Marañón Cinemanía (Spain) May 2, 2017

A pleasant and populist well-performed comedy. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review Read all reviews

Gregory G @Djielle May 23, 2021 A perfect French comedy, the kind that makes you smile at the sometimes painful jokes life plays. A little sentimental, a little risque, a little unoriginal but so what - a wonderful break from the flood of superhero movies, thrillers, horror movies, overly blatant American comedies, and teenage melodramas that clutter up my streaming services choices. A creamy eclair or Napoleon in a world of Oreo cookies and Cinnabons. See more Apr 17, 2021 Nice story, started off with a slightly messed up deal. "Don't catch cold" everyone. Perseverance, family and dreams combine with a bit of comedy. See more Nov 11, 2016 L'etudiante et Monsieur Henri [Calbérac, 2015] There is chemistry between the two leads.
