Sheila McCarthy’s performance as a demonically possessed mother of four maladjusted adult children is the best thing about this hybrid horror film-slash-dysfunctional family drama.

Its "happy ending" feels like a threat instead. Because this isn’t about unyielding love. It’s about the burden of truth. It’s not perfect messaging, but I applaud the conviction.

An amazing performance by Sheila McCarthy. This demon possessed Canadian horror movie was really good. Although the jump scares weren't that effective it still made for a very entertaining and surprisingly enough a good time. When the siblings return home that's when the fun really begins. What a mess of a movie. Had some promise but unraveled quickly. Not worth your time.

I was so bored after 29 minutes I had to turn it off and the characters were just annoying. Every single one. Big no.
