Mr. Piazza offers a persuasive portrait of decline, but it is the crumbling beauty and flailing hopes of Rose that resonate. Ms. Arquette comprehends the character inside and out, and her aim is true. Go to Full Review Robert Abele Los Angeles Times Dec 3, 2015
The mix of callous humor and romantic doom doesn't always hold up, but in its best moments, "The Wannabe" finds real spikiness in the pitfalls of anti-hero worship. Go to Full Review Clayton Dillard Slant Magazine Nov 30, 2015

The film is less a revisionist take on the circumstances of John Gotti's 1992 indictment than a tedious love child of Bonnie and Clyde and Goodfellas. Go to Full Review Shawn Hazelett Under the Radar Dec 9, 2015

Oct 25, 2021 The title says it all.A wannabe mob movie See more Feb 2, 2021 Great film that is based on a true story. The cast is perfect. Christopher and Artie from The Sopranos both make great appearances. The relationship between Arquette and Piazza feels very real and can bring up emotions in the viewer because of it. See more Oct 15, 2016 Horrible! I couldn't wait for them both to get whacked! See more farah r @Farah Jul 31, 2016 A bloody waste of good actors. See more Feb 19, 2016 Good acting delivered by the two leads: Vincent Piazza & Patricia Arquette. But kinda boring, formulaic story on the other hand. See more Feb 15, 2016 Reasonably good film but I didn't really understand what it was all about due to the accident stuff going round and round in my head making it difficult for me to follow and process what was going on. Maybe I should watch again at some point in the future. See more Read all reviews
