Not a bad little number, this, well-directed to the genre template by Kim Farrant and with an excellent supporting performance by Luke Norris as Beth's husband Rob. His scene on the phone is a mini-masterclass in emotionally authentic acting.

This is by far one of the worst movies I have ever watched in my life. The casting is absolutely awful—borderline pathetic. I honestly cannot believe how bad the script is. It’s filled with stupid reactions and nonsensical decisions by almost every character, especially the taxi driver, whose involvement makes absolutely no sense at all. There are so many things wrong with this movie that I wouldn’t even know where to begin breaking them down. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this crap.

This movie did an excellent job of entertaining me. I really liked the cast and I am becoming a big fan of Leighton Meester. The movie does a great job showcasing Croatia. I thought it had a surprising amount of depth and I would say it was well crafted. Very entertaining!

The Weekend Away is a horrible movie. It had a horrible development, its viewers are constantly led in circles, the characters are dullard and vacuous, and there is no reverence for many things, including marriage. This movie rushed its viewers and didn’t consider many details it should have. This movie, overall, is detestable, and personally, I am glad this movie has the low ratings that it has.

This another low budget Netflix movie is more than just a boredom. It's also a vacation in Croatia commercial... Ppl, nothing ever will make me watch this movie again. It's just pointless. was there a mystery? Yes. But with the way the plot was developing i found myself least and least interested in it. The ending was just so uninspiring that it seemed like the whole team couldn't just wait until they finish working on this garbage. It was supposed to be Leighton's comeback i guess. well... better luck next time.
