The movie amounts to little more than another item for Netflix’s well-stocked true-crime emporium, at a bargain-basement price. Go to Full Review

The Widower: ‘Til Death Do Us Part is a well-constructed documentary that brings us along on a murder investigation in real time. Go to Full Review

It's not as comprehensive as ID's The Black Widower docuseries, but this documentary film adequately covers the investigations that led to Thomas Randolph being convicted of murder. A lot the footage was originally filmed for NBC's Dateline. Go to Full Review

’Til Death Do Us Part offers an unusual angle on somewhat typically Netflixian true crime fodder – and there’s enough good work here to give it some journalistic integrity. Go to Full Review

The time flies by because the cases are strange, but also because the suspect is wildly bizarre and so full of himself that he becomes somewhat of a train wreck as his hubris overtakes him, leading him to believe he’s convincing in his innocence. Go to Full Review

...a tightly packed and fast-paced, but focused, documentary that I highly recommend watching. Go to Full Review

Robert H @Rwhobbs198 1 day ago The Widower: Till Death Do Us Part is one of those documentaries that feels strange to say I “enjoyed,” because the subject matter is so disturbing, but it was undeniably intriguing. The story follows a man with a deeply suspicious history: six wives, four of them no longer living, and years of questions surrounding what really happened. As investigators and families begin looking more closely, the pattern becomes increasingly difficult to ignore. What makes it compelling is how the documentary slowly builds the case rather than relying only on shock value. Dark, unsettling, and honestly pretty wild. Disturbing subject matter, but absolutely worth the watch. See more Kathryn J @KathrynJ 5 days ago What a creep this guy is and it is amazing how he managed to manipulate our justice system. I know he "love bombed" his six wives, but they had to be somewhat desperate and in denial to marry him. He cannot hide his narcissism for more than a minute or so! I found this to be quite compelling. I did know about this case from another documentary, but the interviews of law enforcement and victims were very well done and more in depth. The fact that it was all presented in one long episode made for a concise documentary. I’d recommend this for sure. See more Brian T @RT26391183 5 days ago This is a well put together documentary about a ruthless, devious indiviual. The reporter hosting is great, and has filmed interactions with the main character. There are many actual filmed scenes throughout the show that give it genuine authenticity. I found it thoroughly enteraining. See more TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch Oct 3, 2026 The Widower: Till Death Do Us Part is a documentary I thought was ok overall. It did what it needed to do to explain the situation and present the story, but I felt like it relied too heavily on interviews rather than actually connecting me to the people and events being discussed. A lot of information was simply thrown at me, and I never really had the opportunity to settle into the story. The story itself is compelling enough to keep you invested because you want to understand what this man did and how everything unfolded. There is enough there to make you concerned and curious, but I also found myself reaching a point where I was thinking, what exactly am I watching and why is it being presented this way? It is not a bad documentary, but it felt flatter than I expected. I wanted more development and a stronger connection to the story instead of feeling like I was watching one long interview process. It is worth one watch, but I cannot see myself going back to it. See more Tori R @toriRN Oct 3, 2026 Another doc that sucks you in. It is a decent story about a typical narcissist which doesn’t surprise. Worth the watch! See more Gregory G @MovieMasterG Oct 2, 2026 Ehh kind of scary but very lackluster and inconclusive. The interviews are poorly done and the overall tone of the story is too much for what it is. See more Read all reviews
