Sadly, Unabomber is not great. In fact, its greatest accomplishment is how it takes such great talent and such a potentially textured subject and creates such an unbelievably dull, misguided and lifeless result.

As is customary with Netflix's dramatized true crime universe, Unabomber reduces all of Kaczynski's crimes, his psychology and behaviour, to "Here's the catalyst, and this is why he did it," lacking any nuance or thoughtfulness.
