Mr A @AuldyWorldyHorror 4 days ago I’ve seen a lot worse films getting a higher rating on here. A must see if you have a inate distrust of pet cats. Needed more Peter Cushing. But I think Amicus fans will like. See more Melissa L @Agent99 Sep 16, 2026 If you love cats, you'll love this this trilogy! I did! Its a 1970s film with a b-movie feel to it (with the heavy use of incidental music and some lowish quality effects - why do the cats not appear to have blood on them, at least in the first tale?!). It's all a bit ludicrous (or is it?!) but it does have a somewhat sinister feel to it - I wouldn't say it's entirely convincing but either way it's entertaining and quirky I suppose. It probably goes without saying but I'll point it out anyway - there's a lot of miaowing in this film, so if that noise bothers you, then, suffice to say, this is a film to avoid.
