The filmmakers notably doodle in the margins from the start, slightly reorienting our perspective on the familiar tropes of both the teen and apocalyptic genres, making them feel almost new again.

It only takes 85 minutes to watch, and it does offer some small, passive amount of entertainment, but I cannot imagine bothering to watch it twice.

I thought it was all right for what it was, I'm not a huge fan of this type of film. I'm not really a huge fan of like teen films either.

Viral is an entertaining, infection horror film with awesome cinematography and a pretty cool story line.

...it is, in the end, not difficult to see why the prolific Blumhouse Productions decided to keep this one out of theaters.

Disappointing effort. Didn't offer anything new on the subject matter. Some of the acting was okay but it' was pretty lightweight for a man vs nature movie and had little emotional impact Halfway through I was already distracted. Mediocre.

TV-movie-of the-week quality, but not too bad, with a couple of gruesome scenes. Excellent acting by the sisters, especially the younger one.

A different twist on the pandemic/zombie film with good character development. The runtime of 85 minutes really works for the film. It was entertaining for what it was I give it a recommend.
