While the film's success has shone an important light on disability, the casting controversies, inability to let Auggie be a real person and inspiration porn messaging verge on insufferable. Wonder desperately wants you to cry. I did not.

This film is just so good after the book. Jacob and the other cast members did absolutely fantastic! I would totally give this a 2nd watch!

The reason for the bullying he faces is different from that in A Silent Voice. It is a pure coming-of-age story with no romantic subplots at all. Raised with tender care by his family, never treated as a "special child" or labeled differently, he ultimately earned friendship and respect through his kindness and courage. Courage, kindness, friendship, character—thesedefine our humanity, transcending biases of appearance to remind us that what lies within is far more powerful than what meets the eye. This is the essence of empathy: be kind, for everyone is fighting an unseen battle in life

A special movie with a powerful message. A cast full of well known stars including Julia Roberts and Owen Wilson, as well as up and coming ones like Noah Jupe(A Quiet Place) and Danielle Rose Russell(The Orignals). Great film! R & R

This was a real tearjerker. The actor Jacob Tremblay who plays Auggie was really great. The makeup artist deserved an Oscar. Julia Roberts was her typical great self. Owen Wilson whom I love was miscast as the father. His speciality is comedy. Great scrip and it dragged a little in parts but had a tremendous uplifting finish. Nice integration of various actors lives to complete the story.
